Medicare Benefits For Children

The Medicare Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) is a fantastic government-funded dental initiative aimed at preventing dental disease in young children and teenagers.

The CDBS provides basic dental services to children aged between 2 and 17 years of age. Benefits cover basic dental needs such as check-ups, dental cleans, x-rays, fillings, fissure seals, stainless steel crowns and extractions. More complex procedures such as orthodontics or cosmetic works are not covered under this scheme.

​If your child/children are eligible they will be entitled to $1,000 of dental treatment each, over a two year period. Usually families will receive a letter to specify eligibility for the CDBS program. If you are unsure about your children’s eligibility please call us on (02) 9550 6094 and we can help you find out.

NSW OHFFSS Vouchers

We accept NSW Oral Health Fee For Service Scheme (OHFFSS) dental vouchers. You may be offered an OHFFSS voucher either from the public dental service call centre or after seeing a public dental practitioner.

OHFFSS vouchers can cover the cost of emergency, general dental care and dentures depending on your eligibility.

Veterans Affairs- DVA Gold Card

We provide dental treatment for Veterans Affairs patients that hold a DVA Gold Card. A Gold card entitles the holder to DVA funding for dental treatment if they are a veteran or the widow/widower or dependant of a veteran.

HICAPS

HICAPS is an electronic health claims system that allows health fund members to claim automatically on the spot at their chosen health service provider.

We support all HICAPS participating health funds at our clinic.

This means you can claim your dental health cover benefits on the spot, without any fuss.
